A warm welcome to all you amazing readers to my blog. My blog's name is "us idiosyncratic". The meaning behind the blog's title, apart from being my personal favorite word in the English language, is that it holds a very special meaning in itself. Idiosyncratic comes from the greek word "sunkratikos" meaning mixed together, and over the years it has come to mean peculiar, distinct, or individualistic in the English language. And I believe that is all of us: every one of us is peculiar in his or her own rights built by the amalgamation of one's experiences in life. Well enough with the philosophy, now talking about the fun part. What is this blog about?
Since I am a sucker for anything to do with politics, foreign affairs and international trade, they will be a big part of this blog but I promise to make things light hearted for your delicate souls. And with the upcoming 2016 election just around the corner, I am more than excited to be starting my own commentary. Apart from politics, books are my long-loved passion. Therefore, I will be blogging about different kinds of authors, books, and their writing styles. So, book reviews with a hint of summary. My goodness, I loathe reviews that list out the summary since it is entirely pointless if you manage to pull your review act together. And apart from that I will be posting about the ins and outs, the interesting tales, the various adventures of my life. Cannot wait to start this journey-are you ready, readers? "Bon Voyage" "Magnum fortuna"

Your story for the title is so interesting, really looking forward to your blog. You look so pretty too, if you don't mind me asking where are you from?
